My work explores painting in both its material and spatial dimensions. By diverting acrylic from its traditional use, I create compositions that interact with light, transparency, and layering. These works are not confined to a frame but extend into space, taking the form of wall reliefs or suspended installations, offering a visual and immersive experience. Reflective surfaces and light-sensitive materials bring movement into the work, making each piece responsive to its surroundings.

The glossy acrylic finish captures light and reflections, creating an ever-changing relationship with its environment. This interaction between color, light, and space engages the viewer’s senses, transforming the artwork into a dynamic, living presence. Color is never static; it interacts with space and perception, and invites viewers to experience color as something tactile and dimensional—not just seen but felt, turned into an object with form, substance, and resonance.

Through my installations, I aim to highlight this dynamic relationship between color as a material and its environment. With this project, I seek to establish an artistic approach that questions the role of painting today while offering an accessible and immersive experience, inviting the public to engage with color and material in a new way. This body of work challenges the conventions of painting, expanding it beyond the canvas into a spatial experience.

The process is a meditation on color, material, and form, treating each element as an architectural entity within the environment. By building with color, sculpting light, and redefining space, these pieces create experiences rather than objects. The work is alive within the spaces it occupies, inviting viewers to perceive painting as a dynamic environment—one they can move through and interact with.
